Transparent starting prices, quoted properly
Prices start where they start below. Your exact fee depends on what your situation actually involves — we confirm it in writing after a free consultation, and you pay nothing until you have reviewed and approved your completed return.
- W-2, interest and dividend income
- Itemised or standard deduction
- Reviewed twice before it reaches you
- A call to walk through your return
- Everything in Individual returns
- RSUs, ESPP and capital gains
- Rental, freelance and multi-state
- FBAR and foreign income reporting
- Priority response during filing season
- Entity returns and owner K-1s
- Bookkeeping and payroll
- IRS representation and audit support
- Year-round planning, not just filing
Why we quote rather than price-list
Two returns that look identical on paper can take very different amounts of work — a missing cost basis, a state you moved from, an account nobody mentioned. Rather than advertise a low number and add charges later, we look at your situation first, confirm the fee in writing, and only then begin. You pay nothing until you have reviewed your completed return and approved it.
Replace these starting figures with your real bands before publishing — the structure matters more than the numbers.
Where the fee actually goes
Reviewed twice, every time
One preparer builds your return and a second qualified reviewer checks it independently before you ever see it.
A real person who knows your file
The same preparer from your first call to the year you sell a house and need advice. You never re-explain yourself.
We answer in October too
Filing season is when most firms disappear. IRS letters, mortgage copies, planning questions — reach us year-round.
Nothing filed without your approval
We walk through the finished return with you line by line. It only goes to the IRS once you say so.
Things quoted separately
Because they vary too much to put a single number on.
| Service | Typically |
|---|---|
| FBAR (FinCEN 114) | Quoted by number of accounts |
| Form 8938 / FATCA reporting | Quoted with the return |
| ITIN application (Form W-7) | Per applicant |
| Amended return (1040-X) | Per year amended |
| Unfiled prior-year returns | Per year filed |
| Business entity return (1065 / 1120) | Quoted after a call |
| Monthly bookkeeping | Monthly retainer, by transaction volume |
| IRS notice response | Quoted after we read the notice |
| Audit representation | Quoted by scope |
What we will never do
Quote a low headline price and add charges once we have your documents. If the scope genuinely changes — you tell us about a rental property we did not know about — we come back to you with a revised fee before doing the work, not on the invoice.
